GFV Goldstar to exhibit at Hotelympia 2010
25 February 2010
GFV Goldstar will be exhibiting at Hotelympia 2010, from 28 February – 4 March. The show is the world's premier foodservice and hospitality event that has been an integral part of the UK market for almost 75 years. It is the only event which brings together a broad cross section of the hospitality and foodservice community, attracting industries such as catering equipment, food and drink, interiors, tableware and technology. Visit us on stand N2035.
One of the UK’s largest suppliers of commercial kitchens, equipment services and ventilation systems has revealed it has seen a marked increase in new business enquiries over the past six months as a result of the recent upturn in the hotel industry.
GFV Goldstar, which provides a range of fabrication services to clients in the hospitality industry including Travelodge, The Buddha Bar, Wagamamas and Radisson Blu, has received over 40 new enquiries in recent months.
The company, which also works with restaurants, schools, care homes and hospitals, has attributed the enquiries to repeat business from long-term customers and the upturn in the hospitality industry as a whole, which has produced a knock-on effect to the supply industry.
Paul Upshall, Managing Director at GFV Goldstar, said: “We are certainly seeing a boost to enquiries and sales due to a renewed confidence in the hotel market after a period of what has been considerable economic uncertainty.
“The secret to our success is our reputation for high-quality manufacture and producing orders to meet strict deadlines. We can take projects from initial survey to the production of costings and drawings in a matter of days. Designing commercial kitchens and ventilation for the hotel industry is specialised work. By considering the type of cooking, the location of the premises and any environmental issues on a case-by-case basis with the addition of a dedicated project manager, we have seen significant growth.
“The demand we are now receiving is a strong sign that confidence is returning to the industry. As a consequence, we have expanded our sales, design and customer service team substantially and have launched a new website and brochure.”
Established in 1995, GFV Goldstar has undertaken major kitchen and ventilation projects for celebrity chefs, Tony Roma’s, Yo Sushi, Garfunkels and The Saatchi gallery.
GFV Goldstar specialises in fire-suppressing systems and odour control ventilation as well as made-to-measure service spines for kitchens that allow fast, easy access to gas, water and electricity supplies.
